Shellsea set a beautiful table. Dinner was over to fast.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. My girlfriend Laurie and son, Timmy came from Ft. Lauderdale to visit.
We went to a lovely dinner at the Biltmore and then a candle light and Christmas trees tour of the "house". I especially liked studying the carpenty. We have more high tech devices and tools now, yet we can't match the precise carpentry of the early 1900's. We don't have the time, and we would never spend the $ to make our pieces that high quality.
Hey maybe I can become one of these unique antiques !!!

Burning

Oh Gee now this is out of order -- Oh well Who really cares. I finally had an time to get all those leaves burned. I was pretty proud of myself. I ONLY burned the leaves - not the house or the car. I NEVER burned leaves before ! It smells and sounds SO good - so country !!

Can you believe it ! Nov 22 in NC !! of course it didn't STAY on the ground. It was beautiful !

Beauty in Motion

Cashmere

Introducing ! Cashmere. She is living with us for an undetermined time. She keeps Fenix company, and we can treat her like she is our own. Hopefully she will be good on trail rides, so Shellsea and I can go on rides together. Chashmere is a 13 yr old, mare, 16 hands, ( same size as Fenix) Tennesse Walker. I may even think of breeding her to a gaited Black and White I have my eyes on up the mountain. Gaited horses are easy to ride, it's a smoother trot, but they are sloppy Jumpers. Hope you all are planning a fun family Thanksgiving. Call me. We will have more pics from our special up coming trip to the Biltmore, with Laurie. I am looking forward to the glamore and magic of the lights.

More Fall

My house. see the carpet of leaves ? It's magic ! Every time I rake/blow it away - it comes back. !!!

What to DO with all these leaves.!!! Actually, as I haven't done this in 20 years - it's kinda fun.



I am loving watching the leaves change. We are having weather to live for.
50's in the AM and 70's by noon !! Of course a trail ride in this beautiful fall is an absoulte MUST. Some days you know what heaven feels like. I wish we could have kept riding and riding. It was BEATHTAKING !!!
