nothing much
Last week we went for a late afternoon ride on some new trails at the Dupont. Fairly quickly we ran into this beautiful water crossing. Water crossings can be dangerous & this one had some fast moving water 20 yards downstream. We really wanted to cross, so Shellsea got down to show Fenix that it was OK. He wasn't convinced. She had to 1. Take off her boots, & chaps 2. roll up her pants 3. walk across the river herself and drop off her boots and chaps 4. come BACK across 5. retreive Fenix and walk HIM across this little crossing. Her legs were beat red from the cold water. I took an hour, but, we crossed the water. Shellsea can be SO stubborn - wonder where she would get THAT from. ???

While we spent an hour getting across the beautiful sounds of this waterfall filled out trail experience. This guy and his dog were facinated by the "show". I think he also hung around to see if we would make it.
